The Start of my Adventure with dōTERRA

I ordered the home essentials kit, Wild orange, eucalyptus, fractionated coconut oil, veggie capsules, intune focus blend and onguard Beadlets. I waited around all day for this package. Why? Because I wanted to start my day off with quality oils. I waited on the porch, with my coffee and the mailman finally came. Thank God, I thought. I rushed to him in pajamas with my hair all over my head. I took the box and politely thanked him. Now the fun began. I opened the box to first see eucalyptus, Wild orange, onguard Beadlets, veggie capsules and fractionated coconut oil. I then opened the box within the box. The home essentials kit! I opened it up to find all of the beautiful oils. The first One I opened was melaleuca. My old one wasn’t nearly as potent. I smelled each one then set up the diffuser. I put in 4 drops of lemon, 4 drops of eucalyptus and 6 drops of melaleuca. I enjoyed peace in the midst of these oils. I enjoyed watching my thoughts as old memories and new memories re-emerged. After dinner I made a household cleaner using 1 part rubbing alcohol, 1 part hydrogen peroxide and 10 drops of on guard. I filled the rest of the bottle with water. The solution cleaned granite countertops amazing. After dinner my anxiety came creeping in. I put 5 drops of breathe and 5 drops of lavender on the diffuser. I rubbed one drop of lavender between my palms and inhaled. This knocked the panic attack out. Other brands of lavender have never done this for me. While doing all of this I sipped on 20 ounces of water with 5 drops of lemon in it. In the morning I put 5 drops of Wild orange, 3 drops of lavender and 4 drops of eucalyptus in the diffuser. I meditated, then put on some intune and got to work.

If you aren’t familiar with essential oils or dōTERRA then you may have a lot of questions. This was just an introductory post of my use of the oils within 24 hours. In my next post I will give a more detailed overview of each of the oils.
